T&T's 5th Annual
Health Research Conference
Join us on November 22 for the premier event of the year in health research and innovation!
The Ministry of Health; Tobago House of Assembly; Faculty of Medical Sciences & Caribbean Centre for Health Systems Research and Development, The University of the West Indies; The University of Trinidad and Tobago; The University of the Southern Caribbean; the Regional Health Authorities; and the Trinidad and Tobago National Nursing Association are collaborating to host the 2024 National Health Research Conference (NHRC).
Why Attend?
The NHRC is a pivotal forum in which local research findings can be shared with stakeholders to facilitate uptake and use in decision-making to address the country’s health priorities. The Conference will feature research papers (oral and poster presentations) on topics such as Infectious Diseases, Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases, Clinical/Laboratory Studies, Veterinary Studies and more.
This year's theme,
“Digital Health Transformation: Leveraging Technology for Better Care”
highlights the crucial role of technology in revolutionising healthcare.
Main Objectives
