Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the www.healthresearchconferencett.com website (the "Service") operated by the Inter-Institution Planning Committee of the 2024 National Health Research Conference ("Committee", "us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by the Committee.
The Committee has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that the Committee shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.

Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Trinidad and Tobago, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.​
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. ​

Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, please refrain from using the Service.

Registration

By registering for the 2024 National Health Research Conference ("Conference"), you hereby agree to the Terms and Conditions.
Registration for the Conference will only be considered completed upon payment of the appropriate fees. You will be directed to the payment portal after submitting the registration form.
An e-ticket will be issued for each registrant upon completion of registration. Ensure the correct email address(es) is/are entered to receive your e-ticket(s).
The Inter-Institution Planning Committee ("Committee", "us", "we", or "our") reserves the right to close or reopen registration at any time before or after the advertised deadline.
The Committee also reserves the right to make alterations to the programme, format, date and/or venue at any time without prior notice.

The Committee is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of substitution, alteration, postponement, or cancellation of the Conference due to causes beyond its control - including without limitation, force majeure, natural disasters, sabotage, accident, trade or industrial disputes, terrorism, strikes or hostilities.

The Committee will not accept any liability for personal injuries, or loss or damage to property belonging to attendees, either during, or as a result of, the Conference.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

There will be no refund for any cancellation, including in the event of absence.

Committee Cancellation
The Committee reserves the right and holds the sole discretion to cancel the Conference at any time, in case of any unavoidable and unforeseeable circumstances. The Committee will have no further liability to registrants. If the Conference has to be postponed due to causes beyond our control, registration will remain valid for the Conference on the new date, or a future edition.

In the event of cancellation by the Committee, we will use reasonable and suitable alternative arrangements, such as sharing the news of cancellation via email and on the Conference website, to alert those who have purchased tickets to attend the event.

Registrant Cancellation
All cancellations by registrants must be sent in writing via e-mail to the Conference Secretariat at researchconferencett@gmail.com.
If a registrant is no longer able to attend the Conference, a substitute may attend at no extra charge, on a case-by-case basis. Please provide the Conference Secretariat with full details of a substitute registrant* in writing to researchconferencett@gmail.com.
*Substitutions or transfers cannot be made between different registration types (for example, from Student registration to Delegate registration).

Registrations are transferable until November 20, 2024. Any transfer requests after November 20, 2024 will not be facilitated.
Note: The Cancellation/Refund Policy is not applicable if the Conference is postponed due to natural disasters or unpredictable activities beyond the Committee's control (see above). The Committee will provide the opportunity for registered participants to transfer their registration fee to any future editions of the Conference.
